We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team in Europe. The responsibilities of the role include creating communications that advance organizational brand awareness, accelerate campaign performance, inform employees, and increase internal and external stakeholder engagement. This critical role will manage key external and internal communications across channels and audiences. The role will create relevant and accurate written content, compelling stories and materials that bring C.H. Robinson’s services to life. The content communications manager will support key divisional initiatives, events, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies for the European markets that educate prospects and customers, build brand awareness, and nurture customer satisfaction.

  • Create informative press releases, press kits, web-, social-, campaign content, and related marketing materials.

  • Understand company strategies, and external market factors to help cultivate, oversee, and expand relationships with customer facing media to achieve brand profiling and desired positioning.

  • Support executive and spokespersons to prepare for media interaction. Build their personal brands with related media across Europe.

  • Prepare detailed media activity reports.

  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials.

  • Work with different marketing team members to generate new ideas and strategies.

  • Create internal communication and marketing strategies for new services, launches, events and campaigns.

  • Deliver employee and employer brand communications, including building and maintaining an employee communications calendar and delivering communications to employees in Europe, including emails, internal social posts, intranet articles, and supporting town halls.

  • Collaborate with team members to prepare and maintain a monthly social calendar.

  • Work and liaise with business, communication-, and digital marketing teams to ensure correct and regular content updates. Make use of websites as a communications tool to support content

    marketing. Utilize SEO and amplification within regulatory parameters, to improve website traffic generation leading to improved awareness and understanding metrics and website lead generation.

  • Support events and other marketing projects as assigned.

  • Record and analyze data to track progress against key metrics and prepare relevant reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of marketing and communications experience in a fast paced, growing organization

  • Experience with Project Management theory and best practices

  • Experience with media relations management and media pitching

  • Experience in events management

  • Experience with development of first-class PowerPoint presentations and integration of graphics is a must

  • In-depth experience managing brand and consumer facing communication (especially earned) and campaigns

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with external agencies to build strong working relationships and manage/deliver communication campaigns

  • Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in English with superior written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • B2B/service marketing experience

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation is a must

  • Ability to manage multiple multidimensional projects at once
