Account Manager

As an Account Manager at C.H Robinson you will play an important role in our Account Management Team. You will be accountable for managing up to 30 accounts and some of the activities you will be responsible for are:

  • Order & shipment management including rate management, data entry, processing and PO management,

  • Selling and negotiating day-to-day commitments of the account.

  • Providing day to day support to operations with any shipment / order discrepancies & event resolution

  • Developing customer relationships via all forms of communications with contacts at multiple levels as account complexity would dictate.

  • Driving implementation of client new business domestically.

  • Working towards achieving customer expectations and growth of account value using internal resources.

About You

We are looking for a motivated candidate who is looking to further their career in freight forwarding and add value to C.H. Robinson Clients. To be successful in this role, it is expected you will have:

  • At least 5 years industry experience or a relevant bachelor degree with at least 2 years relevant industry experience.

  • An understanding of supply chain terminology, concepts, and sector/segment expertise

  • A strong customer focus

  • Great communication skills and presentation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail
