Senior Carrier Representative spends majority of time developing trade lane level relationships or deal-making (buying, selling, trading, and negotiating) to honor day-to-day commitments of the lane responsibility. Limited involvement in account administration (shipment information, data entry, tracking/tracing or other non-exempt tasks).  This role implements creative capacity solutions through operational engineering and strategic thinking to create additional capacity during high demand cycles.  Develops well diversified and balanced portfolio of Carriers.


The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborates on or drives business reviews and carrier meetings (reviews should be done face-to-face as well as over the phone)
  • Manages carrier expectations through the use of SOPs, KPIs and other account metrics.
  • Develops carrier relationships and contacts at multiple levels to support trade lane development.
  • Promotes network collaboration.
  • Accountable to independently manage and grow trade lane level relationships to build diverse and balanced Carrier portfolio.
  • Responsible to demonstrate growth in owned carrier relationships. Expected to go beyond the core carrier portfolio to build trade lane solutions
  • Develops supply chain solutions in order to effectively support our customer go-to-market strategy
  • Resolves problems, including identifies issues, thinks critically, seeks input to determine the best course of action, and implements solutions
  • Ensures that specific customer load requirements are met on committed and/or ad-hoc shipments
  • Studies and understands market trends and seasonality.
  • Coaches and mentors new Operations Representatives
  • Manages own personal development plan
  • Is aware of and is aligned with the branch strategy and vision
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of internal experience or 3 years of relevant external experience in the industry
  • Native in Polish and excellent communication skills in English. Other EU languages is a big plus
  • Commercial skills
