The Carrier Integration Manager will focus primarily on integrating Carriers and Freight Forwarders. Daily tasks will focus on leading integration projects from beginning to end, working with other groups as necessary to complete projects successfully. At a macro level this role is responsible to update our integration strategy for each respective mode of transport, investigate and propose new technologies on how to aggregate data more efficiently and cost effectively and maintain competitor awareness. This individual will be required to effectively lead and manage meetings both in person and over the phone, influence without authority and make dynamic decisions.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and facilitate project meetings with external providers, customers and CHR

  • Own the carrier integration strategy and direction

  • Utilize traditional project management fundamentals

  • Identify the need for allocation of resources within assigned projects

  • Document and follow up on meeting notes and actions conducted as part of project execution

  • Build rapport with project team and stakeholders

  • Contribute toward development of tools, methodologies, and presentations for CHR Implementation

  • Maintain project plans including all deliverable dates and resource requirements

  • Track and report project financials (budgeted vs actual) for allocated resource hours and billings

  • Oversee progress of project team resources, including functional support groups

  • Successfully transfer knowledge to Operations Team as documented throughout project lifecycle

  • Provide support to Operations Team during Go-live

  • Ensure compliance to SOC process Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in supply chain management or STEM related field

    • Experience working in multiple modes; Air, Ocean, Truckload, LTL, Rail, Parcel

    • 7+ years of experience working in Supply Chain or Logistics related field

    • Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend/late hours may be required)

    • Ability to travel up to 40% (domestically and internationally)

    • Meeting management skillsrelationship management, presentation, discussion, documentation and accountability

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of technical project management or project management role

    • Working knowledge of BtoB protocols for Ocean and Air; EDI, API, XML

    • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to collaborate across functional groups and expertise internally and externally

    • Proficiency in MS Office
