C.H. Robinson is looking to add a Business Analyst to our Robinson Fresh team. Your role will involve creating, maintaining, and distributing insights derived from key performance metrics. You will be tasked with evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing solutions for key customers. As a Business Analyst, you will educate both internal and external stakeholders, helping them grasp trends, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making and drive positive change. This is a hybrid work model, allowing you to work both in the office and from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal analytical teams to develop predictive solutions

  • Extract and interpret medium-scale data to address complex questions effectively

  • Utilize reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, as well as database querying, to track and analyze focus areas

  • Develop and maintain robust platform optimization reporting and analytics as well as a standardized library of reporting and analysis

  • Advocate for and contribute to the creation of data-driven products to enhance outcomes for global customers and partners

  • Identify trends, make data-driven recommendations for behavioral changes, and suggest operational improvements for both internal and external business challenges

  • Create, document, and manage project plans, process flows, and metrics

  • Collaborate with Reporting resources to build essential data sets for operational and exploratory analysis

  • Participate in external stakeholder interactions as part of routine business reviews, sales calls, or consultations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial or business analyst capacity

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with data visualization tools, including, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL querying

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proven ability to drive positive change in a large, dispersed organization

  • Logistics and supply chain experience

  • Collaborative and positive working style

  • Proficiency in data and financial analysis for sales or operations

  • Familiarity with Python, R, or similar programming languages

  • Effective and adaptable communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and advise stakeholders at various levels

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to handle questions and feedback

  • Experience translating complex data into understandable insights

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, open to seizing opportunities and challenging the status quo

  • Organized with strong self and project management skills
