As a Principal Human Resources ComplianceManager, you will handle HR compliance with specific focus on HR Data and Data Policy management. In this role, you will partner closely with Corporate Privacy, Legal, HR COEs and Technology to lead and promote processes to ensure safeguards are in place and HR data is being stored and used in a secure and compliant manner. You will also lead data governance initiatives to organize and streamline the HR data lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with partner teams, including Technology, Legal, and HR business functions to embed global HR privacy related requirements within new and existing tools, processes, and projects that involve the processing of global employee HR data
Lead and drive HR data governance initiatives
Develop and maintain documentation, including internal knowledge bases, policies, and procedures
Lead the development of data notification communications related to how and where employee data will be used
Own the DSAR process for HR in strong partnership with Privacy, People Analytics and HR Technology
Collaborate with stakeholders to assist with the completion of HR Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) new vendor review
Identify process improvements for streamlining, optimizing, and automating key HR privacy processes across the function
Manage projects related to ongoing HR data compliance in partnership with Privacy
Review and assist with the preparation and submission of annual EEO-1, VETS 4212 and other government compliance filings as needed & EEO code audits
Ensure that HR data record retention is being followed and applied appropriately
Provide insight and guidance related to data requests and approvals
Monitor known and emerging risks, measure internal control effectiveness, and develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues
Stay informed on and connected to changing/new industry requirements
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 6 years of HR compliance experience in data privacy compliance supporting a large global enterprise
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of privacy principles and privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and PIPEDA
Ability to develop strong relationships and confidence with managers, executives, and other Human Resources departments
High degree of confidentiality
Ability to create new or review and update existing processes
Ability to make recommendations at all levels of the organization
Effective and flexible communication skills
Strong problem solving/critical thinking skills
Excellent time management abilities

The compensation range for this position is based on experience and location. We support you as your grow your career. Our career paths offer the potential for internal promotion - both horizontally and vertically.
