What’s the opportunity?
The Dry Veg Sales Manager will serve as the SME for this dynamic category and play a mission-critical role in shaping overall direction, including pricing and future supply plan. You’ll leverage your business acumen and ability to build solid working relationships as you insert yourself into the business conversation at both the strategic and tactical, account-specific level to drive continued expansion of Robinson Fresh’s presence and positioning in the Dry Veg category.
This position can be located in Phoenix, Arizona or Nogales, Arizona.
What will you be doing?
Works with Sales/Account Management and leadership to develop category programs that maximizes net revenue opportunities while growing customer penetration and grower/vendor support.
Responsible for business development activity in terms of existing customer penetration and new/new activity.
Oversee the day to day management of the category including communication, execution, service levels-both directions, project management, contract proposals, new target quoting, and reporting.
Assist with the budgeting process between the supply teams and the Account Managers.
Provide monthly and quarterly result reports related to the category.
Own the regional pipeline both existing and future development for the category.
Own daily, promotional, and contract pricing decisions.
Focus on innovation within the category by establishing a truly differentiated through packaging and varietals; offering to match the market and customer needs.
Consistently provide education to all internal sales and account managers throughout the region.
Be a positive role model for Robinson Fresh within the category in the broader industry.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of 5+ years of fresh produce experience required (in buying and selling roles), with majority of experience selling in the Dry Veg category
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Technologically-savvy with an ability to drive innovation

Strong team player
Travel up to 25%
