Marketing Specialist

C.H. Robinson's Marketing team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist for its Oceania region.

This role will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of C.H. Robinson’s marketing strategies and initiatives to deliver upon enterprise, divisional and regional objectives set by leadership. 

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager as well as the corporate marketing team, this role will manage a wide variety of commercial marketing projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic marketing, communications and/or digital marketing; the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and strong project management skills to drive initiatives through to fruition.  


The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, strategically sound, and thoroughly planned marketing campaigns with measurable sales impact that reflect business needs and acumen

  • Plan and execute a variety of marketing initiatives for a portfolio of products, services, and trade lanes across our earned, owned, shared, and paid marketing channels.

  • Perform overall project management including writing project briefs and scopes, communicating with a variety of audiences, setting/meeting deadlines, timelines and executing on deliverables within budget

  • Measure project performance and ROI through reporting on project updates, status, completion, and ongoing sales success to internal stakeholders with the intention of developing insights to maximise success and lead generation opportunities.

  • Contribute to the delivery and management of the regional social media strategy.

  • Development and/or management of regional sales collateral and distribution via intranet.

  • Contribute to the management of the organisations brand and distribution of regional merchandise via resource portal

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote efficient processes, effective execution, and client satisfaction

  • Identifying new marketing opportunities and analysing competitor activity.

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in business, marketing, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of strategic marketing, digital marketing, brand management and/or communication experience

  • The ability to work independently or as a team


  • Master’s degree

  • Knowledgeable about marketing tools including direct, digital, social media and other traditional marketing channels (Sprinklr, Meltwater, LinkedIn, Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Researches and identifies media trends and adjusts marketing plans as needed

  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills

  • Passion for improvement and strong desire to drive organizational growth
