Customer Service Support

For our office in Turin or Milan we are looking for Customer Service Support.

a As Customer Service Support you will assist the operational execution and liaison between customer and branch operational representatives across multiple offices and geographies. Next to that, you will support the Corporate Key Account Manager in managing medium and large size accounts, with focus on transactional sales and managing small local RFQs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Sell and negotiate transactional business
  • Support pricing strategy with the help of the appointed KAM through a clear understanding of customer buying habits and urgency of shipments
  • Proactively follow up with customer on quotation process till the closure of the opportunity
  • Establish and maintain relationships with day-to-day/weekly & Monthly contacts
  • Stay informed of changes within the customers’ business, industry, and sector through regular customer communication; applies that knowledge to identify new opportunities.
  • Receive shipments from the customer and ensuring flowless operational execution (through the Branch Operational contacts)
  • Ensuring the shipment execution in compliance with agreed customer SOP with the help of data audit reports.  
  • Proactively update customer on shipment status
  • Build trusting relationships by ensuring quality execution against expectations and collaborating with internal partners to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure that SOPs are updated based on changing customer requirements and continuously look for opportunities to optimize the operational flow

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
  • Fluency in the German language is a plus
  • Passion for sales and pride in building customer relationships
  • Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all customers, in all situations
  • Speed and efficiency in fast-paced setting (more calls mean more opportunities!)
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
