We are looking for a Software Developer for Testing(Manual/Automated Tester) to join the TMC EU team in the Warsaw office.
The TMC EU team delivers and maintains software services used by internal and external customers, carriers, and supply chain partners across the globe to manage their day-to-day transportation needs.
You will work with virtually all of the functionalities available in our product portfolio, ensuring that the products are of the highest quality and meet functional and non-functional requirements.
You will collaborate with the business analysts and developers to plan and execute quality assurance activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. This is an important, demanding, and highly visible role, which requires a well-organized individual, who feels a sense of ownership, pays attention to details, and can communicate in an effective and friendly manner.
Understand business use-cases to provide user-centric testing.
Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted.
Plan test campaigns, create and maintain test data and test cases.
Execute system tests (manually) and report test results.
Prepare and execute automated test scripts, document test results and revise test cases as needed
Develop and maintain automated data validation tests
Participate in peer reviews for requirements, technical specifications, and test plans.
Provide status and metrics reporting to management and project team members.
Proactively recommend and support process improvements.
Be involved in planning meetings.
At least 1 year experience as a manual tester
Understand software and application design, development and project management principles
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and assignments with varying complexity.
Passion to learn new things.
Effective listening, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish.
Basic MS Office user skills.
No fear of bringing up "bad news".
Manual testers willing to enter the automated world – more than welcome!
You might be even a better fit for the team if you had any of the following:
Good knowledge of testing tools Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger,
Experience using object-oriented languages such as .NET/C# and exposure to SQL
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Coded UI
Knowledge of the logistics industry.
