Supervisor Collections – US collection / Second Shift Work

The Supervisor Collections will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and empowering the team towards success while overseeing the operations of a Collections team. They will collaborate with other members of the leadership team on planning strategic goals and metrics designed to drive performance and help manage daily Collections activities for assigned customers and associated business partners. They will be responsible for the overall team performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Arranges and oversees completion of all work on assigned Collections team
Participates in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and alignment of qualified and diverse talent
Outlines employee role accountabilities and expectations; manages performance to drive the right behaviors and improve results and provides useful real-time coaching, development activities and stretch assignments; supports employees with problem resolution
Manages workflow, account assignments, account on-boarding, problem resolutions and resources for the team
Partners with trainers to close team member knowledge and skill gaps
Identifies, recommends, and implements improvements in processes to increase effectiveness of operations.
Achieves accounts receivable operational goals i.e., DSO, Past Due Percentages
Accountable for meeting organizational quality scores
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Troubleshoots complex issues with business partners and escalates critical business issues to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
University background, preferably economy, finance, accounting
Minimum 2 years of applicable experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections or related finance operations processes
Experience in managing team of 1 year
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
Proficiency in English
Preferred:
Effective and flexible communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholder groups
High degree of professionalism, customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities sound decisions
