We’reC.H. Robinson, one of the world’s largest logistics platforms and we're looking for a Global Forwarding Agent (ocean export) to join our Bucharest Ops Center and support our French branch.

  • Gain familiarity with international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology from purchase order issuance to cargo delivery.

  • Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adjust processes and devise solutions for internal and external challenges.

  • Coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOP requirements: obtaining booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, handling governmental filings, overseeing delivery, ensuring accurate invoicing, etc.

  • Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, exceptional customer service, and innovative problem-solving.

  • Forge strong relationships with customers, promptly responding and following up on issue resolution.

  • Provide support with reporting and documentation for internal and external customers.

  • Participate in customer business reviews.

  • Contribute to smooth forwarding operations across various regions, gaining exposure to diverse challenges and client needs.


Minimum1-3years ofGlobal Forwardingexperience.

  • Knowledge or coursework inSupply Chain or Logistics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Fluency inEnglish (written and verbal).

  • Proficiency in French would be a plus.

  • Excellent customer service skills and follow-up to be utilized with customers and the network.

  • Critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment.
