• C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Global Forwarding Agent who will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient international shipping for our clients. In this role, you will leverage your industry expertise to manage complex shipments, provide accurate financial billing, and mentor others in meeting customer requirements. You'll act as a key contact for customers, building strong relationships and leading by example in customer outreach, retention, and expansion.   The duties and responsibilities of this position consistsof, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage the entire international shipping process from purchase order to delivery

  • Ensure accurate billing by inputting and understanding financial components of shipments

  • Apply industry knowledge to solve internal and external challenges

  • Coordinate shipments, ensuring compliance with customer SOPs and mentor others on the process

  • Maintain and update shipment data in Navisphere, C.H. Robinson's logistics platform, ensuring accuracy

  • Provide complex quotes and coach others on pricing strategies

  • Act as a key customer contact, building strong relationships and resolving issues

  • Lead customer outreach, retention, and expansion efforts while acting as a department expert

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and propose process improvements

  • Monitor shipment trends, recommend technology solutions, and support Sales Executives and Account Managers with customer reporting

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Global Forwarding industry experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Site Specific:  Fluent English (written and verbal)

  Preferred:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business

  • Extensive industry and department knowledge (process & handling, regulations, international shipping, etc.)

  • Strong prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and high level of flexibility as priorities and needs change daily

  • Proactive, ambitious, hardworking, and analytical mindset

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment

  • Proven track record of dealing with customers and being client focused

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to execute with 95% or higher monthly audit compliance and minimal unbillable charges

  • Site Specific:  Fluent in the local language
