C.H. Robinson is seeking a Manager Talent Acquisition who will be based in Shanghai, China.

In this role you will lead a team of recruiters, partner with senior stakeholders, and contribute to our Talent Acquisition strategy of attracting and hiring the best talent. You will ensure we deliver on our commitments to the business, delight the candidate experience, meet our diversity, equity and inclusion goals, and drive efficiencies within our processes. Moreover, your leadership experience will be leveraged to lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters responsible for full cycle recruiting accountabilities primarily for entry-level to mid-level roles across APAC and SAMA.

With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets its hiring goals. Focus on continuous upskilling and professional development to enhance team capabilities
  • Standardize and centralize recruitment processes across the APAC/SAMA regions to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with regional business leaders and HR partners to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Actively participate in recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing and selecting candidates for key positions
  • Build trusted relationships with business executives to become a key talent partner
  • Provide leadership by offering strategic recruiting insights and best practices for goal achievement
  • Leverage data to manage recruitment workloads and offer relevant insights to business leaders
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and HR to attract, engage, and retain talent
  • Oversee and measure Talent Acquisition strategies and initiatives to align with evolving talent needs and candidate expectations

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • Minimum 2 years of leading and managing teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for recruitment events and recruiter connectivity

Preferred:

  • Proven success leading Recruiters
  • Proven ability to deliver results with little supervision in at times an ambiguous environment, while simultaneously and effectively managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • An influencer with a proven ability to develop strong internal client relationships, leveraging strong consultative skills.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to identify areas of opportunity and utilize quantitative skills to manage business outcomes.
  • An excellent communicator with an innate ability to motivate and inspire people with your words.
