Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Operational Excellence:

  • Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo

  • Initiate, prepare, process and assemble all required documentation for air, LCL or FCL shipments

  • Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to the carrier, customers and agents in a timely manner

  • Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally

  • Execute/Coordinate tasks and mentor others on how to execute the consolidations to meet all SOP requirements

  • Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data

  • Coordinate and problem-solve on complex consolidations

  • Coach and train others

  • Ensure a high-level of data integrity within the shipments

  • Facilitate Relationships:

  • Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with CHR offices, Agents, and Outside Vendors

  • Act as a key contact and subject matter expert

  • Promote a positive working relationship for all team members

  • Act as a resource and expert to the department, branch, and network on consolidation requirements & process initiatives

  • Monitor consolidation trends and its impact to our processes and operations

  • Other Activities:

  • Ensure SOPs are maintained and adhered to

  • Make recommendations to improve or implement technology solutions to recognize efficiencies and improve net revenue

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Global Forwarding industry experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business

  • Strong prioritization, multi-tasking skills, and high level of flexibility as priorities and needs change daily

  • Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment

  • Proactive, ambitious, hardworking, and analytical mindset
