Manager Business Analytics is responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced analytics insights and solutions that accelerate business growth. In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to ensure cutting edge and differentiated data and business analytics are delivered seamlessly to our internal users, customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills as well as extensive experience in analytics field.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analytics Roadmap – You will develop and implement impactful business and data analytics strategies that ensure sustainability of the analytics reporting suite and drive business growth

  • Leading and Developing Talent - You will hire, train and develop a high performing team to ensure alignment with current and future goals and initiatives

  • Priority Management – Oversee and manage team’s priorities, balancing the short-term and long-term needs of the division

  • Project Management and Integration – You will lead multi-faceted and complex projects from start to finish ensuring team accountability, audience centric communication, adherence to timelines and deadlines and effective integration into the business

  • Data Governance and Data Security Oversight - You will establish processes, allocate team resources, organize and manipulate large data sets and ensure data quality, accuracy and security

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication – You will partner cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels

  • Collaboration with Other Divisions – You will need to develop and maintain relationships with other analytics teams inside of the company to learn of new and useful developments that could be reused for EST.  In this role it is critical to ensure we do not recreate the wheel

  • Manage Roll Out of New Analytics Tools – You have the responsibility to ensure clear documentation, communication, training, and operational processes are in place when new analytics tools are deployed

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience leading a team - hiring, coaching and developing others successfully

  • 5+ years of professional experience in business and/or data analytics-related positions

  • Experience with data visualization tools and programming languages (PowerBI, SQL, Python, R)

  • Proven success in driving projects from strategy to execution

  • Understand and encourage a diverse and inclusive work environment

Preferred:

  • Excellent consultative and influencing skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively

  • Capable of working beyond the data to understand the business functions and behaviors of our customers

  • Possess strong strategic orientation, ability to think critically, and prioritize work based on potential impact

  • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
