C.H. Robinson is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join its European Surface Transportation team in Warsaw, Wrocław or Cologne.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, prospecting, soliciting, and closing new accounts leveraging all of C.H. Robinson's logistics services (including but not limited to: Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Outsource Solutions).  You will be in daily contact with potential customers, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Actively seeking new customers – we are looking for a proactive "hunter" who will utilize all available channels to reach and engage potential clients

  • Inside Sales: Initiate contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email

  • Outside Sales: Arrange and facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, and close business deals in person

  • Collaborate with the internal team to onboard services for new customers

  • Provide assistance with account management issues post-sale, as needed

  • Establish credit terms with clients in alignment with company goals and directives

  • Participate in face-to-face meetings to present proposals, offer solutions, and close deals

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in a position in sales development or business development in the logistics industry

  • Fluency in German and English is a must

  • Strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a customer’s organization

  • Strong skills to persuade, motivate, and influence others

  • Enthusiastic approach, perseverance in pursuing the goal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Willingness to travel, when needed

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
